Bez Rodzynek Cake Studio: where design meets sweetness

The Bez Rodzynek Cake Studio is an unusual patisserie in Poland designed by the mode:lina™ architekci team, where interior design becomes an extension of the world of confectionery. Typical features of cakes and pastries, including cream edgings, icing and cubes of jelly, are reinterpreted in architectural form and transformed into distinctive details that create the location’s identity.
The background colour of the whole interior is a warm shade of pink, chosen to create visual continuity and emphasise the textures and proportions. The versatile, practical Medley by Ergon collection fits perfectly into this context, giving depth and personality to the design scheme.
The central feature is the counter with the display case for the cakes, constructed on a base of clear glass blocks that capture the daylight and generate a subtle “jelly-cube” effect. The top of the counter, on the other hand, is covered with the Medley by Ergon collection in Pink shade and Pop finish, in 30×60 cm size, which has an irregular pattern evoking crumbs of chocolate. This surface’s design balances perfectly with the styling and colour of the walls and ceilings, while also providing functional characteristics, durability and the ability to withstand heavy-duty wear and tear.
The Medley collection was also used for the floors in 60×60 cm size, creating continuity with the counter and harmonising attractively with the store’s colour scheme. Thanks to its versatility, it combines immaculately with the furnishings and the architectural details, emphasising the small decorations inspired by the world of confectionery and helping to define an original, distinctive interior.
