Private luxury game reserve Kapama River Lodge
Cornerstone by Ergon embodies the most authentic African spirit
The Kapama River Lodge is a luxury resort located in a private nature reserve within Greater Kruger Park in Limpopo, South Africa. For the project, surfaces from the Cornerstone by Ergon collection were selected and used to pave various areas, from the lobby to the gift store, from the outdoor patio to the lounge area, as well as the guest rooms and bathrooms.
Natural identity, tactile appeal and authenticity: these are the characteristics of Cornerstone by Ergon that have enabled the creation of warm, welcoming environments in which the fittings blend with the surrounding wild nature. The selected shades are Slate Multicolor, inspired by sedimentary stones typical of Africa’s great rivers, and Granite Stone, a hard rock composed of ancient, compact layers.
In 2025, Kapama River Lodge expanded with new spaces and a renovation project that enhanced its identity, strengthening the dialogue with the surrounding landscape. Cornerstone surfaces by Emilgroup, featured in the 60x120 cm format, support this evolution, extending across the new reception areas, guest rooms, the River Bar, and dining spaces, contributing to a cohesive and harmonious overall design.
